Mr. Joe Basile

Mr. Basile began his Kokondo Karate training in 1991 at the Monson, Massachusetts Dojo under Master Tom Wood.  Not being one to rush into things, he received his Shodan black belt in 2000.  He continues to train, presently under the tutelage of Sensei Dan Cohen.

Outside the dojo, Mr. Basile is a corporate lawyer, specializing in mergers and acquisitions at Bingham Dana LLP in Boston, Massachusetts.  He holds a bachelor's degree from Stonehill College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.  He considers himself very fortunate to enjoy the company of several very special

sentient beings, including his two daughters, Lisa and Amy Beth, his fiancée, Sheelah, and his dachshund,  Franklin.
